As we previously reported, AJ Styles has been off the road with WWE recently, missing Survivor Series, and last night’s SmackDown LIVE. It was also reported that Styles is currently in negotiations with WWE for a new contract as his current deal runs out in April of 2019.
Not only was AJ Styles not on last night’s SmackDown LIVE, but he was also replaced on Mixed Match Challenge as Charlotte Flair’s partner. In a recent audio update on PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson reports that AJ Styles will be back on the road with WWE soon.
Regarding AJ Styles, Mike Johnson said:
“Styles will return to the road this week for WWE. He has a signing in Houston and then he is scheduled to move on to work the Starrcade show this weekend. So AJ Styles will be back on the road this weekend.”
