On last night’s episode of RAW we saw Ronda Rousey cut a promo in wake of the fallout from Sunday’s Survivor Series, where she was viciously attacked and beaten with a kendo stick by Charlotte Flair. During the promo Rousey talked about how she has “never ran from a fight”, which drew a response from UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg.

Cyborg will face Amanda Nunes at UFC 232 when she will defend her UFC Featherweight Title. Nunes, also happens to be the person whom Ronda Rousey fought and lost too in her last MMA fight before retiring. Rousey retirement meant that we would never see the highly anticipated fight between herself and Cyborg.. which is more than likely what prompted Cyborg’s response to Rousey’s promo on RAW last night.

Cyborg tweeted, “Never ran from a fight? #RAW I think @BeckyLynchWWE hit STAN a little to hard @WWE”.

You can see Cris Cyborg’s tweet in reference to Ronda Rousey’s promo on RAW, below.

Cyborg has been linked with WWE in the past as she was campaigning for a match against Becky Lynch at last year’s Survivor Series at one point.
