Shane McMahon shocked the world when he replaced The Miz at the finals of the World Cup at WWE Crown Jewel and defeated Dolph Ziggler in order to win the tournament and become The Best In The World. He will become a heel eventually as well.
On Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast, Brad Shepard mentioned that Shane is definitely involved in a major Wrestlemania storyline. But he also said Shane is ”high maintenance” as well. This is what he said:
“I was told that he is certainly going to get some sort of a headline fight at WrestleMania and in fact, they referred to Shane as ‘high maintenance’ and ‘everytime he gets involved we all roll our eyes.’ Take that for what it’s worth but apparently, Shane McMahon is high maintenance.”
Shane has only taken part in parts where he is clearly the highlight and the spotlight is on him. So it’s not hard to understand why he is called that backstage.
