Daniel Bryan Wins WWE Championship On SmackDown Seemingly Turning Heel In Process
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown LIVE Daniel Bryan was given another shot at AJ Styles’s WWE Championship, as the two squared off in the main event.
The finish of the match saw the ref get knocked out along with AJ Styles, which gave Daniel Bryan an opening which he took. As AJ got back to his feet Daniel rushed in and delivered a kick to the crotch instantly dropping AJ.
From there it was elementary, as Daniel Bryan locked in the “yes lock” and AJ tapped out, making Daniel Bryan the NEW WWE Champion.

And with Daniel Bryan’s victory tonight to become the new WWE Champion, he will now go on to Survivor Series to face Brock Lesnar in a Champion vs. Champion match.
