Chelsea Green, or Laurel Van Ness as she was known in Impact Wrestling, had a great gimmick which comprised of her being a vengeful bride, hellbent on revenge – except it didn’t matter who she took it out on.
She signed with WWE after her WWE Performance Center tryout had great results and her fans were eagerly waiting for her NXTdebut. Thus, and that happened in Largo this week.
As she made her way to the ring, she sported the same gimmick she used in Impact Wrestling, including her lipstick being smeared and her mannerisms. Perhaps she will be allowed to keep the gimmick.
Green faced off against Deonna Purrazzo, who was scheduled to compete at ALL IN but had to cancel due to signing with WWE. Fans in attendance witnessed a solid debut from Chelsea. In the end, it was Purrazzo who came out the winner.

To top it all off, Green’s boyfriend Zack Ryder came to watch her live, which he had never done before as they both worked in different companies.
