What Options WWE Are Reportedly Weighing Regarding The RAW Tag Team Titles In Wake Of Ambrose Heel Turn

As we saw on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre for the RAW Tag Team Titles in the main event. However, during their post match celebration Dean Ambrose turned on his Shield teammate and viciously attacked Seth Rollins inside and then outside the ring. After Ambrose finished his attack on Rollins he took the Tag Titles and threw them both down at the fallen body of Seth Rollins before exiting through the crowd.

The actions from Dean Ambrose have definitely clouded the RAW Tag Team Title picture for the foreseeable future, and have left many speculating what WWE is planning to do next.

As we reported yesterday the heel turn we saw on Monday by Dean Ambrose was not originally planned to take place this early, as it was said to have been slated to happen around Survivor Series. Instead, WWE chose to change up their timeline in the wake of Roman Reigns shocking announcement of his battle with leukemia and indefinite departure from the company by having Dean turn on Seth in the same night adding extra heat and emotion to moment.

On the latest episode of Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast, Joseph Peisich talks about a couple of the possible scenarios that he has heard as plans for the RAW Tag Team Titles going forward after Ambrose’s heel turn on Rollins on Monday. While it sounds like plans for the Tag Titles are still being worked out, what is for certain is the fact that the Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins program that kicked off following their title victory on RAW is just beginning.

Regarding possible scenarios for the RAW Tag Team Titles going forward, Peisich said:

“We mentioned the tag team titles. Okay, so I have heard some scenarios going around. Number 1, they keep the titles with 1 guy like it’s a tag team match fighting for the titles or they’re doing a tag team tournament and who knows who wins that whole thing?”

“Now Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will have a feud now I believe going until March or April over the Intercontinental Title.”

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more regarding the Raw Tag Team Title picture, or the Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins program.
