Potential Major RAW Storylines Going Forward In Wake Of Roman Reigns Leaving To Battle Leukemia

As we saw last night on RAW, Roman Reigns vacated the WWE Universal Title after revealing he has been diagnosed again with Leukemia. As has always been the case in the business, the show must go one, and that was apparent last night as Dean Ambrose turned on teammate Seth Rollins following their emotional embrace with Roman Reigns at the beginning of the show.

The very difficult situation WWE is now in, in regards to their booking options was discussed in the latest audio update via PWInsider. Mike Johnson speculates on a couple of potential booking ideas, and comments on a couple programs he is certain WWE will be building going forward.

Regarding the mess that WWE is currently in booking wise and creatively, Johnson said:

“So obviously going forward as WWE kind of reconfigures the Raw brand we are looking at Drew McIntyre against Braun Strowman and potentially Drew McIntyre becoming a challenger for the Universal Championship which if that is the case he certainly deserves the positioning due to all of his hard work since coming back to WWE and really all of his hard work since WWE released him several years ago.”

“Also Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins in what can only be looked at as a huge grudge match, a bloody huge physical feud — a blood feud for the Intercontinental Championship. And you know those guys are great at what they do and they’re going to have great matches.”

“Where does this leave Dolph Ziggler, I don’t know maybe he’s the second to Drew and taking a bunch of bumps against Braun Strowman.”

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more regarding booking and creative plans going forward.
