WWE Reportedly Passes On Signing Top International Star Due To Pre-Existing Injury

It had previously been reported that WWE had been interested in signing mexican wrestling star Garza Jr. after he received a Performance Center Tryout back in April of this year. Numerous reports had even said that the two had come to terms and that he had signed with the company, although nothing was ever confirmed.

According to a new report from Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, it appears as though WWE passed on signing Garza Jr. due to a pre-existing shoulder injury.

Regarding Garza Jr., Meltzer said:

“Garza Jr was turned down I believe because of shoulder problems by WWE so he’s working. I mean he’s got shoulder injuries. I’m not sure what else is really going on him.”

Garza Jr. as recently appeared for IMPACT Wrestling earlier this year prior to his reported WWE tryout at the Performance Center. We will keep you updated if we hear anything more regarding Garza Jr. and his injury and/or WWE status.
