HBK will finally be out of retirement at WWE’s Crown Jewel event that is taking place in November in Saudi Arabia. But not too many backstage are thrilled at his return.
Brad Shepard talked about this on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast, saying that people backstage aren’t supportive of his return. This is what he had to say:
”I was talking to a source in WWE who brought up some interesting things I just wanted to share. Talking about specifically about the Crown Jewel show and Shawn Michaels’ return and this is the feedback I got from someone in WWE and I’m just going to say it: ‘Frankly, I don’t want him back and I shake my head at him breaking his retirement for this.”
Regardless of backstage opinions, the addition of HBK to Saudi Arabia will no doubt be a positive one.
