SmackDown 1000 is coming up on October 16th in Washington D.C., where familiar faces of Smackdown past will appear in order to celebrate the history of the show. One of the most influential wrestlers on the show’s history is undoubtedly The Rock.
As previously reported, WWE has been trying to get The Rock to appear for Smackdown 1000. He hasn’t been seen on WWE television in a long time. But while it hasn’t been made official yet, WWE has teased the Rock’s return on their social media. They posted a picture of The Rock with a SmackDown 1000 graphic along with the words: “FINALLY… it’s almost here” and then they @ mentioned The Rock.

Time will tell whether this will be actually happening or not.
