Rey Mysterio is making his return to WWE and he will be appearing on Smackdown 1000 for his first match in the company. On Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer mentioned that while Mysterio is definitely scheduled to compete on Smackdown 1000, where he will officially end up for his time in WWE is not confirmed yet. He could be on either Raw or Smackdown.
It would be great to see Mysterio compete in either show, as both brands are loaded with talent and the prospect of seeing him face the likes of Seth Rollins on Raw or Shinsuke Nakamura on Smackdown are enticing, to say the least.
We will have to wait and see where he will finally settle soon enough.
