WWE Hall of Famer Lita made a surprise return at independent wrestling promotion MCW’s (Maryland Championship Wrestling) Tag Wars last night where she ended up being a special guest referee.
Prior to beginning her WWE career, Lita wrestled for MCW under the ring-name Angelica, and has made multiple appearances for the promotion in recent years.

Lita commented on her return earlier today when she posted a message on her twitter account, saying that after shaking off the ring rust at MCW’s Tag Wars last night, that she is ready to have some fun at WWE’s Evolution PPV in October.
Lita said, “Spent some time with old friends at @MCWWrestling this weekend. After some training to shake off the ring rust, I’m feeling ready to have some fun at @wwe #Evolution next month. October…”
