WWE Starting To Prepare For Huge Survivor Series Match?

As we reported earlier, the MMA Horsewomen teamed together last night at an NXT Live event.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler teamed with Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir last night as the MMA Horsewomen official made their debut as a team as they faced off against Deonna Purrazzo, NXT Women’s Champ Kairi Sane, and the debuting Io Shirai. The MMA Horsewomen were victorious in their first match together, and it appears as though WWE teaming them up last night may have been for a very interesting reason.

It has been rumored that WWE could potentially be planning to run their Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen program and build towards a match at this year’s Survivor Series. Last night’s match was discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and Dave Meltzer noted that WWE putting 3 of the 4 Horsewomen together in the same match was certainly preparing them for something.

Regarding last night’s matchup featuring 3 of the 4 MMA Horsewomen, Meltzer said:

“By putting them together I think they’re putting them together for the fast lane, that’s for sure.”

We will keep you updated if we hear more regarding a potential Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match at Survivor Series.
