Update On Possible Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen Match At Survivor Series

WWE’s next of the “Big Four” Pay-Per-Views is Survivor Series in November.

It had earlier been reported on and speculated that WWE was planning a potential MMA Horsewomen vs. Wrestling Horsewomen match at this year’s Survivor Series. The idea had been planned last year but was put on the shelf, rumors had started to come up again as of late however, with the recent heel turn from Becky Lynch it left many wondering if the planned match was once again off the table.

In the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer notes that it might be asking a lot for Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir to be ready in time for Survivor Series being that they just recently made their debut in NXT. But it was noted that the idea is still being talked about.

It has been said that both Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir have both been very impressive with their progression since arriving at the Performance Center. It had also been said that some people feel that Shafir may end up being the best out of the four.

The report also mentioned that pairing up Baszler, Shafir, and Duke together in NXT was “not by accident”. Which could indicate that the plan for the Horsewomen vs Horsewomen program could still be “on the to do list”.
