As you may know Hulk Hogan has been teasing some type of big announcement for October 27th this year.
This of course has led to many theories and speculation as to what the announcement will be. With Hogan recently being reinstated into the Hall of Fame, some had guess that it could be WWE related. More questions and theories stirred up again a couple weeks back, when Hogan’s Beach Shop in Orlando was closed for part of the afternoon because Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall were there filming footage for a unknown project. The real kicker came when photos surfaced from the video shoot which showed Hogan, Hall & Nash all three wearing nWo black and white clothing. Hogan was even sporting the blonde handlebar mustache with the jet black beard.
Another proposed theory as to what the announcement on the 27th of October could be is that it could be connected to Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, which is scheduled to take place October 27-31.
Last night I was a guest on Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast and Hulk Hogan was a topic that came up during the show. Brad Shepard mentioned during the discussion that there is a little bit of heat on Hulk Hogan with Vince, after Hogan he reportedly has gone into business for himself. Apparently the issue stems from Hogan using the nWo gimmick outside of WWE.
Regarding the heat on Hulk Hogan, Brad said:
“Hulk Hogan, he’s got a little heat. Vince McMahon is not overly pleased with his little going into business for himself so to speak with the nWo.”
Co-host Joseph Peisich did not elaborate any further on the Hogan situation, but he did back Brad’s report, saying:
“All I’m going to say is, Hulk Hogan has gone into business for himself.”
