What Happened To Brock Lesnar’s Advertised Appearance On This Week’s RAW?

As we saw on last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW there was no Brock Lesnar, despite being advertised to appear.

WWE had even been advertising Brock Lesnar’s appearance on Monday’s episode of RAW in Brooklyn, as late as a video package that the company aired in the Barclays Center before SummerSlam went on the air.

According to a report from PWInsider, Brock Lesnar was never at the arena Monday for RAW at any point. The report added that according to their source Brock Lesnar actually flew home late Sunday night following SummerSlam, despite other reports yesterday which claimed Lesnar was still in New York on Monday.

As far as why WWE did not announce that Brock Lesnar would not be appearing on RAW, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson said that he had no idea. He explained that it is never really a good idea for WWE to make that type of announcement, especially when it is concerning a name that does not regularly appear as there is always the argument that his appearance makes a difference overall when it comes to selling tickets or the event.
