As we saw tonight’ at WWE’s SummerSlam PPV, the even opened with the Intercontinental Championship on the line as Dolph Ziggler put his title on the line against Seth Rollins.
During the match Rollins appeared to have taken a stiff bump in the corner when his face connected with the top turnbuckle. Rollins begin to bleed from the side of his head near the corner of his eye. The ref immediately put on the gloves and check on Rollins.
Ultimately Rollins would battle through the pain and was successful in regaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship after he connected with the curb stomp to Ziggler, following it up with a pinfall victory to win the title.
