Daniel Cormier Puts UFC Light Heavyweight Division On Notice – Calls Out Top Contenders For Title

UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier says that he will defend his Light Heavyweight Title sometime this year.

DC recently spoke to MMA Fighting during a behind-the-scenes video shoot with FOX Sports, where he stated that he will defend his Light Heavyweight Title sometime this year. Cormier also put the entire 205 lb Light Heavyweight Division on notice as he called out the divisions top contenders.

Cormier said:

“When and where, Corey Anderson. When and where, (Ilir) Latifi. When and where, Anthony Smith. When and where, all of them. All of them at some point this year. Take a piece of steak, put it in the Octagon. Whoever wins gets the title fight. Let’s do it like that.”
