Update On Injury To Ruby Riott & Possible Timetable For Her Return

As has been reported over the week, WWE Superstar Ruby Riott suffered a sprained left MCL while wrestling a match with Dana Brooke on June 29th in Rapid City, South Dakota. It had also been reported that changes had to be made on the fly backstage that led to Ruby being booked to wrestle Dana Brooke, whom she hasn’t worked with much in the past.

Ruby Riott underwent an MRI earlier this week to evaluate the severity of the sprain. As of right now there is now word on exactly how long she will be out of action. Depending upon the severity of the sprain, she could miss anywhere from a couple weeks to a few months of action.

However, it is now being reported that Ruby Riott will not require surgery to repair the damage to her MCL. She is scheduled to be re-evaluated again on July 30th.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
