Money In The Bank will be held at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on June 17th , 2018. The card for this event is very good and I expect a lot from it. Here is the match card and predictions for the event:
AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Championship Last Man Standing Match): This match will be better than the other ways they have had since they will end the feud here. I think this is that match where they go all out. I believe Nakamura gets the title here, his first on the main roster. This will be the match we’ve all been waiting for. Prediction: Nakamura takes the title.
Rusev vs Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman vs Bobby Roode vs Kevin Owens vs Miz vs Samoa Joe vs New Day Member (Men’s MITB Ladder Match): This match is going to be full chaos, in a good way. I expect this match to bring the house down and be the highlight of the night. All of these competitors are in need or should have that briefcase for a title match, but not all of them can win. I think Miz is winning the briefcase because WWE has been high on him and he also has a new TV show coming up. Him being pinned on Smackdown makes me more curious on him winning because usually WWE doesn’t have the winners of matches like this look strong before the match, they like to keep the low key and maybe lose a couple matches. Miz is in a prime spot to win this match since he is due for a major title run. I think down the road he will cash in on Daniel Bryan after DB wins his first title back. Prediction: Miz will be holding that briefcase
Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair vs Ember Moon vs Natalya vs Becky Lynch vs Lana vs Naomi vs Sasha Banks (Women’s MITB Ladder Match): This match has 3 of the 4 horsewomen of WWE. It is weird that Bayley isn’t in this match, so they must have big things for her. Maybe Bayley pushes Sasha off the ladder or something. I expect some good moments from this match, but not totally great. Most of these competitors don’t even need the briefcase because they have either had a title recently or have enough star power to just get a title match easily. There aren’t as many women on the roster as men so I get the booking. I think anyone in this match can win so it’s a mixed bag, but I have to lean towards Becky. Prediction: Becky wins the briefcase and gets back on track
Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey (Raw Women’s Championship): This match came out of nowhere after it was announced at the NBC Upfront ceremony. Nia was actually the one that challenged Ronda to a match for the title. Ronda is getting a fairly quick title match in her WWE career, and this will be her first one on one and first title match. I don’t think they’ll have Ronda win the title just yet, and they don’t want Nia to crush her. So I think we see a draw. Prediction: Draw and Nia keeps the title
Carmella vs Asuka (Smackdown Women’s Championship): This match=bathroom break. I don’t expect anything from this match but Carmella losing the title. I do not like Carmella as champion, she is not good in the ring and is annoying on the microphone. Her reign needs to end ASAP. Prediction: Asuka makes Carmella tap and takes the title
Seth Rollins vs Elias (IC Championship): This match is something we expected for awhile now and we finally got it. I think this feud could be good if WWE gives it care and thought. My favorite superstar is Rollins and I hope he retains. I think Elias wins this one and finally gets a main roster title. Prediction: Elias sings his way to the IC Title (Maybe with a little help from Dean)
Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy vs The B-Team (Raw Tag Team Championship): This match should have good comedy, I don’t expect a lot of good action in terms of wrestling in it. This match should be a short one and a time filler. I think the B-Team wins since the WWE is high on them by making them a shirt and giving them a lot of air time. WWE also has them winning a lot in recent weeks, I don’t think they’ll end their hot streak. Prediction: B-Team proves they are the best team and win the Raw Tag Titles
Bludgeon Brother vs Good Brothers (Smackdown Tag Team Championship): This match should contain come good action because these are experienced teams with some miles on them, so I think we will actually see a pretty good match. Bludgeon Brothers reign has been in the background and not really that good, they should just break them up and give Harper that singles run he needs. I think the Good Brothers will get the titles and end the boring reign of the Bludgeon Brothers, that is what is best for business. Prediction: The Good Brothers end the not Too Sweet reign of the Boring Brothers
Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn: This feud is beyond boring and just needs to end, I think everyone knows that. There isn’t much to say about a feud like this other then that it is boring and not good at all. Prediction: Bobby Lashley wins his first feud back with WWE
Big Cass vs Daniel Bryan: This is yet another feud that is beyond boring and no one likes. It just needs to end and quickly. I hope Cass doesn’t win because that means we’ll get one more match between these two. I think DB comes out winning though. Prediction: Daniel Bryan makes Big Cass tap out again
Roman Reigns vs Jinder Mahal: There seems to just be a theme of bad feuds that need to end right? This is another feud that came out of nowhere and needs to end already. I think Reigns beats Jinder in a very boring match. Prediction: Reigns spears his way into victory
Overall I think MITB should be a solid night with some highlights.
