Why ALL IN 2 Will Not Happen At Madison Square Garden

Last night Ring of Honor held an event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, and The Young Bucks & Cody Rhodes seemingly teased fans all night over the possible location for ALL IN 2.

At one point in the show Cody trolled the audience at the Hammerstein by telling them that ALL IN 2 would be held there at the Hammerstein Ballroom, only to eventually laugh and tell them he was just kidding. Later in the night, Cody and The Bucks again got a rise out of the New York crowd by telling them that they want ALL IN 2 to be at Madison Square Garden. However, that is probably not a realistic option at all as Vince McMahon & WWE have an exclusive with MSG that would prohibit any other wrestling event from happening at the venue.

Bryan Alvarez also touched on this subject during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live. Regarding Madison Square Garden being a potential site for ALL IN 2, Alvarez said:

“I do actually believe that Vince McMahon has an exclusive for Madison Square Garden. They could do the theater at Madison Square Garden.”

It would be very unlikely that they would choose to go with the MSG Theater, as the seating capacity is around 2,000 to 5,000 for concerts. This would be a step back for them, as they targeted at 10,000 plus venue for the initial event.
