CM Punk Responds To Outraged UFC Fan On Twitter

CM Punk is a beloved former wrestler and WWE Champion, who has changed the way we look at pro wrestling. Currently, he is signed to the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), and he is going to have his second professional fight on June 9th 2018 in Chicago at UFC 225.

There was a lot of criticism towards CM Punk for his loss somewhat embarrassing loss at UFC 203 to Mickey Gall, and now some UFC fans are outraged that who they feel is an undeserving fighter is getting another PPV fight. Many UFC fans think that Punk has not earned the opportunity to compete on main card of UFC 225.

A fan recently commented on Punk being placed on the main card at UFC 225, which prompted an exchange between the two. You can see the tweet below:

Author’s Thoughts:

My favorite former WWE superstar clearly said that he is bothered by his placement on the card.

The ironic part is that Punk placement on the card mattered to him when he was in WWE. When CM Punk negotiated his contract with Mr McMahon on Monday Night Raw in 2012, he mentioned that he wanted to main event at Wrestlemania 28. Everyone knows that WM28 main event was The Rock vs John Cena, but Punk made it clear that his placement on the match card mattered to him.

Every person improves and gains experience with time, and it could be possible that CM Punk is a better man. After all, Punk contract segment with Mr.McMahon happened in 2012.
