As was previously reported, former WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio will be appearing at the upcoming WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27th from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Mysterio’s appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble was discussed in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and Dave Meltzer revealed that Mysterio’s deal with WWE is only a “one-shot” deal. Currently the two sides have not agreed to anything that would secure Mysterio into a full-time or a part-time role with the company.
It is believed that nothing has been set in stone yet regarding a return to WWE for Mysterio because of the number of non-WWE commitments Rey still needs to fulfill.
