Rusev Changes His Instagram Account To Reflect His Real Name – Adds Info For Booking Inquiries

To add even more mystery to the recent situation involving WWE Superstar Rusev and his removal from the Casket Match with The Undertaker only a day removed from the original announcement, Rusev has now apparently changed his handle on his official Instagram account to reflect his real name. He has also added an email address which you can reach him for booking inquiries.

You can see a screen grab which shows the changes to Rusev’s instagram account below:

While there has been no statement made suggesting that WWE and Rusev have parted ways, it is a very interesting plot twist in the already confusing situation regarding his removal from the Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

It should also be noted that WWE has edited out the “Rusev Day” chants from WWE fans on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown LIVE during the segment which saw Paige announced as the new General Manager when she was teasing who might possibly face Daniel Bryan later in the show. Fans erupted in chants of “Rusev Day”, before Paige was eventually able to bait them into chanting for AJ Styles. In the video when Paige asks fans who they want to see Bryan wrestle, you can clearly see fans chanting for Rusev only to have WWE edit in audio for AJ Styles.

The edited video was uploaded to WWE’s YouTube account, which you can see below:
