Investigation Into Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore Over Rape Allegations Still Ongoing

There was speculation over the weekend regarding the status of the investigation into former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore by Arizona Police for accusations of rape.

In an update, Pro Wrestling Sheet‘s Ryan Satin is reporting that Police have told him that the case is still open, and that the investigation is still ongoing.

Enzo’s accuser Philomena Sheahan has deleted her twitter account since coming forward with the allegations of rape against former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. A former friend of the accuser, named Sam, put up a tweet at one point mentioning that the investigation into Amore was closed. Sam’s tweet as since been removed, and was only up for a short amount of time.

Police got back to me in regards to the Enzo Amore investigation. Reports stating the investigation is over are completely false.

The case is still open at this time.
