Court Bauer’s MLW Will Broadcast Weekly On beIN Sports

Former WWE creative team member and Major League Wrestling (MLW) CEO Court Bauer has come to terms with beIN Sports to broadcast his professional wrestling product, as part of the network’s “Friday Night Fury” lineup, beginning on Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 8:00 PM ET.

beIN Sports, which launched in 2012, is a global network of sports channels owned by beIN Media Group.

For Bauer and MLW, it’s a second chance at success.  MLW was originally launched as a professional wrestling product in 2002 but closed its doors in 2004.  In 2011, Bauer brought back the MLW brand as a podcast network.  He began focusing on free and premium podcasts hosted by well-known names in the industry, such as Bruce Prichard, Dutch Mantell, Kevin Sullivan, MVP and Jim Cornette, among others.  Bauer brought back his in-ring product in October of last year, at a show dubbed MLW One-Shot.  He’s promoted several shows since that time and is now poised to present a weekly televised product.

On April 12th at MLW: The World Championship Finals, the promotion will crown it’s new world heavyweight champion at the Gilt Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.  The match to determine that will be between independent professional wrestling stars Matt Riddle and Shane Strickland.
