It has been rumored over the last couple months that the next WWE Draft could possibly take place at the upcoming Backlash PPV. It now appears as though that may not be the plan.
On the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that he believes the next WWE Draft will take place in sometime in April, possibly on RAW and/or SmackDown LIVE a week or two after WrestleMania 34.
“I don’t know, but I was under the impression it was coming in April. Like a week or two after ‘Mania. Wasn’t that the case last year? They had the Monday and Tuesday after WrestleMania, and wasn’t it the very next week? I’ve been hearing people talk about the Draft, so I figured in the next month.”
