Backstage Update On Daniel Bryan’s WWE Schedule

On today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Daniel Bryan getting cleared to return to the ring and he was asked about Bryan’s schedule.

While yesterday it was reported that Bryan was looking to only to work around 60-80 dates a year, it is now being said that he is looking for a schedule similar to that of Randy Orton. However, Meltzer did indicate that Bryan’s schedule has not yet been completely worked out.

“I know what he wants – not a 200 day a year schedule, he wants a pretty regular schedule. I would say probably a “Randy Orton schedule”, but it’s not worked out.”

Meltzer also went on to explain that there were a few last-minute changes to last night’s SmackDown LIVE script, due to Daniel Bryan’s announced medical clearance. He noted that WWE had no plans of Bryan’s physical altercation until late in the day Tuesday.
