It was announced on Monday’s episode of RAW that the first-ever “Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal” will take place at this year’s WrestleMania 34.

On today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discusses the announcement of the match and talks about how this match, along with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, were designed as a way to get everyone not already placed into a match, involved on the card.

Meltzer also goes on to speculate that NXT talents will be involved in the match as well, but if you look at the YouTube information for the promotional video WWE posted to their Youtube account you will see that they in fact state that NXT talents will indeed be involved.

The youtube description for the video states, “Women from Raw, SmackDown LIVE and NXT will clash in the first-ever Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.” So there is really no “speculation” about it.

Meltzer said in his report, “To fill it out, you’re going to get some of the NXT women in there.”

Meltzer did not elaborate as to which of the NXT female talents could be appearing in the match, but we will keep you updated if anything is announced.
