Speculation On A Huge Title Change And And Top SmackDown LIVE Star Moving To RAW

On today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania 34 and speculated that if AJ Styles loses the WWE Championship at WrestleMania to Shinsuke Nakamura that he could be heading to the RAW brand.

“Nakamura is getting a World Title match at next month’s pay-per-view. He probably shouldn’t be losing. I guess you could argue that if he wins, then they move AJ over to the other side. Which wouldn’t shock me to see AJ move because they were going to do that last year anyways. How many times can we watch AJ vs. Kevin Owens anyways?”

Meltzer went on to explained how normally when WWE decides to move on of their top Superstars from one brand to the other brand, that they need someone who is equally qualified to fill that spot. Meltzer went on to speculate that Seth Rollins could possibly be Styles’ replacement if he is moved over to RAW.

“Although if they move AJ, they better move somebody good to the other side. Maybe Seth? That could be one of the big names, I am speculating. When they do the moves, they usually – at least one key person from each side will move. If AJ is going to move, then Nakamura could win the championship, which would be something. Who would they go with Nakamura and Owens? Nakamura and Randy Orton? Nakamura did have a helluva match with Randy Orton on TV the one time they worked. There are a lot of different ways. We will see what happens.”
