Possible Plans For NXT Tag Team Titles If Bobby Fish’s Injury Turns Out To Be Serious

It was reported over the weekend that NXT Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish was injured over the weekend at an NXT Live Event in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fish & O’Reilly were defending their NXT Tag Team Championships against the team of Heavy Machinery when Fish suffered an injury and rolled out of the ring instantly. The referee immediately threw up the “X” and Fish was attended to outside the ring by medical personnel on hand. Fish was helped to the back, and O’Reilly went on to finish the match by himself.

On today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live Bryan Alvarez discussed Fish’s injury over the weekend and mentioned that he is scheduled to undergo an MRI soon. It is believed that if the injury to Bobby Fish is serious and if Fish is expected to miss a significant amount of time that the winners of the upcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be crowned the new NXT Tag Team Champions at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.
