The Undertaker Downplays Idea Of Returning To WWE For Another Match

The Undertaker appeared alongside Kane on Thursday night for a fundraiser as part of Glenn Jacobs political campaign for Mayor of Knox County Tennessee. The event took place at the Rothchild Catering & Conference Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This was the first time that Kane & The Undertaker have ever appeared together outside the WWE.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson noted the event during the latest audio update for PWInsider Elite, saying that fans in attendance said that when The Undertaker was asked about possibly returning for another WWE match this year, that he downplayed the notion to those who asked.

“Yesterday he did a signing in Knox County Tennessee with Kane to help Glenn Jacobs for Mayor. Apparently Mark & Glenn are close. There were some fans that asked him about returning and why he could have very well been working them. He kinda gave the impression of “ahh, don’t hold your break, don’t wait for that one.” But we will see. If I was Taker and I was returning, certainly I would want to keep the mystique and aura going and hide things, you know? Sort of do a little slide of hands. We’ll see what happens.”

Kane also returned to action last night at a WWE Live event where he wrestle Braun Strowman. Kane is also scheduled to wrestle Brock Lesnar at tonight’s WWE Live Event in Chicago.
