There has been lots of speculation over the last month that WWE might possibly pair Ronda Rousey up with Paul Heyman to be her mouthpiece given her relative inexperience on the mic.
On today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed this topic and he indicated that he does not see the pairing happening due to the current direction Ronda Rousey’s storyline is heading. It appears that the planned storyline is for Rousey to get the better of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H leading up to their match at WrestleMania. Meltzer doesn’t believe that would book Heyman in a situation where he has the chance to outwit a McMahon on the microphone. For that reason, he believes that WWE will not align Rousey and Heyman.
