The Mirror recently spoke to Rey Mysterio about a possible WWE return following his appearance at the 2018 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant. During the interview Mysterio says that there is a “big possibility” that he will return to the company.
“I want to say that there is a big possibility that I will be back. [We’re] figuring out what the situation is, you know from both ends. But there is definitely a positive feedback on behalf of the fans, on behalf of the WWE staff and behalf of myself man. I think we’re possibly going to sit down and negotiate something where we can both work together and have a good time and enjoy.”
Rey Mysterio’s deal to appear at this year’s Royal Rumble was just a one time deal but there have been rumors that he will return to the ring once again for WWE. It’s been noted that Mysterio wishes to work a lighter schedule similar to that of John Cena, but WWE wants him to come back full-time.
