During the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that there is some heat backstage on WWE UK Superstar Tyler Bate.
The heat on Tyler Bate stems back to before he lost the WWE UK Championship to Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Chicago last year. The report stated that WWE was looking to book Bate for a main roster tour but due to Bate having prior engagements he was unable to work the tour. This obviously did not go over well with WWE Officials.
Since then, Bate has worked a few WWE Events and made his on camera return to WWE programming. However, Bate recently lost a #1 Contendership Match for the UK Title to Roderick Strong, and then lost again to TJP.
Bate took to twitter and commented on his recent string of losses with the following remarks:
