Former WWE Commentator and ESPN Analyst Jonathan Coachman spoke to TMZ today and was asked about Vince McMahon’s plan to relaunch the XFL. While Coach speculated that he does believe that McMahon is planning on relaunching the XFL, he also brought up a very interesting possibility.. Coach speculated that Vince McMahon could be planning on purchasing the Carolina Panthers.
Coach also pointed out that Vince McMahon’s “secret home base” is in North Carolina, and that Triple H even had his bachelor party in Raleigh, NC.
“He’s a billionaire, he could come up with the funds, and he’s also at the age where other owners would respect that,” Coach said.
But Coach, who was also an analyst for XFL during it’s tenure, is more confident in McMahon’s plan of bringing back his own football league, even going as far as saying that “this time, it ain’t gonna flop.”
Coachman said regarding Vince’s plan,“Whatever this is, they’re gonna do it the right way.”
