Vince McMahon Aiming to Impress Facebook Execs & Other Streaming Services With New Mixed Match Challenge Series

Prowrestlingsheet is reporting that Vince McMahon wants to impress Facebook’s top executives with WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, while also in the process gain the attention of other streaming service companies. The hope is that Mixed Match Challenge will draw more interest from other Networks and Streaming Service Platforms when their contract with NBC Universal expires in 2019.

It is believed that current storylines running across WWE brands will not tie into Mixed Match Challenge. However, Enzo Amore & Nia Jax are expected to be a team on the show, so it is very possible that other real-life couples, like Jimmy Uso & Naomi and Rusev & Lana for example, might be used on the show as well.

Facebook will be paying WWE for the distribution rights to Mixed Match Challenge. The show is scheduled to have a 12 week run, with WWE waiting to see exactly how the revenue will pan out for this show.
