House of Hardcore, a promotion owned by ECW Original Tommy Dreamer, announced that the company will be adding its first title, the HoH Television Championship will be decided in a tournament that will commence at the House of Hardcore Event on Friday 1/2618 at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia. This is also the same weekend that WWE will be holding their annual Royal Rumble PPV from Philadelphia.
Already advertised for the HoH Event on January 26th, is NWA Champion Nick Aldis & Former WWE Star Joey Mercury, with Shane Douglas in their corner vs. Tommy Dreamer and a Mystery Partner, with another mystery man in their corner. Also advertised to appear: Super Crazy, Brian Cage, Willie Mack, Matt Riddle, Kevin Kross, Swoggle, Lisa Marie Varon, Billy Gunn, Crazy Steve, Eddie Kingston and The Luchasaurus.
